Keeping America Safe Through Torture

Today President Bush vetoed legislation which would ban the CIA from using torture.
Claiming that this is a valuable tool in the war on terror, to keep our country safe.

Now the question is, what will you do?
Sit on your duff and take the taxi to the darkside?
Or will you stand up and be counted, to put the inalienable rights of human beings back in American policy?

If you choose the dark side, understand the consequences for humanity, the rule of law, human rights throughout the world and our standing among nations.


If you choose to protest the use of torture, and the government that has reatedly lied to you about it's use, understand it is not enough to keep it to yourself.

NP, I have no life so it's easy for me to sit here and expound, meanwhile Bush today vetoed legislation that would forbid torture by the CIA, and it is hard for me to understand how anyone can defend the naked brutality of Zionism. BTW the Zionist government of Israel is one of those governments we send people to in extraordinary rendition to be tortured and happily provided "advisor's" to our teams at Abu Grahib.

Put aside the macho rhetoric of the Jew that aint gonna take it anymore, and hiding behind the pain and humiliation of the holocaust in Europe at the hands of the Nazis as a worn out and feeble excuse for their murderous policies and utter brutality and what you have is jackbooted monsters wearing yarmulke instead of swastikas.

Proud to be Jewish, and proud to oppose Zionism and the actions of Israel.
Proud to be American, proud to oppose torturing other human beings and the (illegal) actions of this administration.

Human Civilization and civil behavior is a thin veil, all too easy blown away by the slightest breeze. Doesn't take much take nice smiling happy humans and turn them into teeth flashing killers.

And with the current trends to brutalize and starve more and more of earth's human population, to disenfranchise and marginalize vast groups of us, to consolidating wealth and power in the hands of fewer and fewer, despoiling the environment that sustains us all, well, a recipe for the 'end of days' horror show 'left behinders' are busy praying and raising money for, endless warfare, bloodshed, depravity and despair.

Our own greed and shortsightedness, all the warnings from the old testament, and other so called sacred texts, that preceding generations have sought to warn us, their progeny about and protect us from ourselves. We, our own worst enemy.

I plan to watch it all on cable.
